four years of ltn <3
four years ago, a group of fourteen humans gathered in a way too small living room in an airbnb in lisbon with a simple question: what does it feel like when we sloooow it down and let our hearts and sensuality come together?
that night became the first lisbon temple night.
it was heartbreaking and beautiful and looking back it birthed a lot for the future of ltn. our ethics, queer temples, the ritual of a fruit platter, the altar of pleasure - all of those seeds were planted that night and fully exist today.
since then over 1500 bodies have crossed the threshold into our temple. lovers have met. hearts have cracked wide open. curiosity has led people into parts of themselves they didn’t know existed. lessons how the emotional and erotic can melt into a pot of deliciousness were learnt and embodied.
the temple has grown and changed its facets many times. and now we turn four.
so for our bday we’re doing things a lil differently. just this once.
You know us: we’re uninterested in throwing a wild party or even making this temple all about us and our birthday.
Four years is a small eternity. It has been long enough for our temples to root and for a community (for the lack of a better word) organism to form. This night is a moment to step inside that living organism together, feel how we live and breathe together.
We’re here to celebrate the forces that create life: curiosity, pleasure, tenderness, courage, love, the simple miracle of bodies meeting in presence.
And how? Well..
If you’ve been to temple before, you know that at the heart of Lisbon Temple Nights lives a simple approach: it’s not something we organise for you but rather something that emerges between us.
It’s a space of co-creation, not consumption. Temple asks everyone who’s in the room to become the artwork and the creator. We see it as a temple full of art but we won’t hire performers. The art isn’t something that happens on a stage. It happens in the way people meet, move, speak up, sing, dance, touch, laugh, moan, play, read poetry, paint pictures, dare to be seen, bring their talents and gifts.
This edition is an invitation to fully honor that spirit - a temple dedicated to creation and aliveness and through that the strange yet utter beauty that appears when people dare to bring themselves fully into a shared space. A living artwork.
We imagine a temple where people arrive as artists of the moment. Are you ready?
we’re letting go of our usual temple skills & night structure - so no workshop this time. instead we meet for an unhurried, immersive time together and let the temple journey sloooowly unfold. we start at 3pm, end at midnight but keep the space open for you to stay until 2am. yes, there will be a long table-ish with an erotic dinner experience. well-fed, well-fucked (figuratively).
what the day may look like
To be honest, we don’t fully know yet. We have a vision and a feeling we want to evoke but no concrete plan. Which is very temple of us. We are intentionally keeping parts of the plan open and responsive to the energy of the room. Still, here is a sense of the journey we imagine for the day.
-
WE OPEN TOGETHER AT 3PM
As always, we begin together: grounding in the room through guided moments, rituals and the familiar process of arriving as a group rather than as separate individuals.
From there the journey begins to unfold.
-
WE SHARE AN EROTIC DINNER EXPERIENCE
A long table-ish moment where we eat and allow ourselves to be mesmerised by what we are being served (maybe more than food).
-
WE LET THE TEMPLE DO ITS MAGIC
This is where the night becomes fluid. There may be invitations from us, spontaneous moments of (your?) music, artistic expressions, quiet corners of intimacy, group melting, temple things. Some things may be offered by the team and many things may arise through the creativity and presence of the people in the room.
-
WE CLOSE THE OPEN TEMPLE TOGETHER AT MIDNIGHT
A usual, we will formally close the temple around midnight with a shared moment of completion and integration. We ask you to plan to stay until this moment (of course you’re always free to leave if it isn’t your cuppa tea).
-
WE KEEP THE TEMPLE VIBE GOING UNTIL 2AM
What’s different this time: for those who wish, the space will remain open until 2am. Not as an afterparty but as a gentle continuation of the temple atmosphere (however contrary to the rest of the time, this part isn’t held by our facilitator anymore). It’s a time to bathe in the quiet magic that lingers after a full temple night.
you have walked with us for years.
You remember airbnb living rooms, early experiments aka wobbles and the first fruit platters. If you’ve ever been part of the temple before, this night is a moment to feel how much you’ve grown in it.
you stopped coming to temple.
It’s also for you if you haven’t been in a while. Maybe life moved, maybe curiosity faded, maybe timing simply didn’t work. Consider this an invitation to step back inside the temple again and see what it feels like now.
you recently found your way to lisbon temple nights.
If you’ve been circling the temple energy only recently, this temple may be a beautiful way to deepen your experience and taste more of it.
you have never been but feel the pull to come.
It’s absolutely for you if you have never been to Lisbon Temple Nights before. In fact, the spaciousness of this long temple can be a beautiful way to arrive for the first time: more time to land, to connect, to immerse yourself and to move at your own rhythm. You might want to read about our temple approach here:
who this is for
Basically, this is for our LTN Templers - whether you are one, you were one or you want to become one.
an attitude check
Temple works because the people in the room share a certain spirit. Come with curiosity rather than expectations, ready to care for yourself as much as others and to participate in shaping the atmosphere of the space, open to listen and slow down to feel what is actually happening instead of chasing an idea of what should happen.
We’re aware we speak into you being the artist who co-creates this temple but you don’t need to be a performer or have a “special talent” to do that. Maybe you:
want to whisper your fav poem into someones ear.
know how to bake a dangerously good cake and feel inspired to feed it to someone (or let it be eaten off your body).
think of questions and invite a few people into a corner for a moment of unexpected honesty.
know how to summon the gods for someone with a lap dance.
create a tiny ritual for two strangers to meet.
know how to turn water into wine.
When many people bring their sweet, mischievous, devotional pieces, something extraordinary can emerge. The most beautiful contributions are often the simplest ones: presence, kindness, courage, playfulness, honesty.
And that, to us, is being the living artwork of the temple.
All the NEW practicals.
PLEASE READ ALL OF IT!

For this temple we are using both a two-part contribution.
When you reserve your ticket on Eventbrite below, you will pay a reservation fee depending on the ticket tier you choose (yes we also have tiers this time). This secures your place.
In addition, we ask everyone to bring €50 in cash on the day which will be collected at the door.
We use this system for two accessibility reasons: it reduces yourplatform fees and allows you to distribute the ticket price across March and April.
For this temple, we slightly raised the price to match the long-form temple (11 hours of deliciousness) and the included dinner.
-
2.45PM: we open doors
3.05PM: we close doors and begin (don’t be late, no late entry)
6-7ish PM: dinner
12AM: we close the temple together (please plan to stay to this moment)
2AM: we close the space and everyone goes home

Come knowing you’re celebrating creation and life. Whatever that looks like for you. Make sure you feel comfortable and sensual and can move well. We always advise to bring layers to take off and put on top as heating is always unpredictable in Portuguese winter times.
-
You can request a refund through eventbrite up to five days before the event. There are no refunds available afterwards but you can transfer your ticket to someone up to 24 hours before the temple begins. Send an eMail to hello@lisbontemplenights.com (we only answer until 24 hours before the temple begins).
-
You may notice that this edition doesn’t include our usual Temple Skills workshop.
This doesn’t mean we are letting go of the care and structure that makes temple possible. The space will still be guided and carefully held by our facilitator and team and we will take time at the beginning of the journey to arrive together, establish agreements, ground the space before the temple opens.
If you’ve never attended Temple Skills before, you are still very welcome here. What matters most is not prior experience but your willingness to engage with the culture of the space: presence, consent, respect, care for yourself and others and the openness to bring yourself in to co-create.
our 3 temple agreements
-
In the temple, we meet as sovereign adults. You are the expert on yourself: choose your own level of involvement and intensity at all times. There is no rush, no goal, no expectation to “go somewhere" here.
Take care of your body and emotions: drink, rest, eat, ask for support or take space whenever needed. You’re free to leave anytime; just let a facilitator or team member know.
Fuck peer pressure. It can show up subtly. If you notice yourself comparing, performing or doing something because you think you “should”: pause and come back to you.
Performatism is a thing too. Temple is not about playing a role but an opportunity to practice showing up as your real self, whatever that looks like in each moment.
-
If everyone only did “you do you” the temple would just be a room full of individuals. But we meet to create something larger: a field of us.
This means we bring our highest level of consideration and care. We lean in with curiosity and respect. Temple is part of community care.
Consent lives at the heart of that. We practice ongoing, enthusiastic consent: always checking in and seeking the presence of a yes, not the absence of a no. Consent isn’t black or white (there’s a lot of subtle grey) but because we often meet as strangers, we choose the safer route: ongoing, enthusiastic consent.
We don’t play by heteronormative rules or do gender balance/pairings. We meet as humans, beyond labels, discovering what’s possible in that openness (again, reminding you of #youdoyou and choose your own level of involvement and intensity here).
What happens in temple stays in temple. Share your own experience, not others’ stories or identities. Confidentiality is important, Lisbon is a village! Phones stay outside the temple to protect everyone’s privacy and the field from energetic leakage.
We also care for the space itself. Bringing a towel is a must and protecting the mattresses from your naked body is a non-negotiable. Treat the venue like our collective home, so we’re always welcomed back.
A Special Note on Nudity & Eros Here
Lisbon Temple Nights is a sex-positive space. Be responsible. Get tested regularly if you engage sexually in the temple. Safer-sex materials are provided and their use is non-negotiable.
Bring a sarong and towel (or two). No naked bodies or body fluids on anything that isn’t yours.
-
Temple is a co-creation. The biggest gift you bring is your expression (quoting my friend Agua here).
If the band plays epic music but the crowd stands still, the vibe stays flat. But when the crowd moves, something electric happens. That’s the power you hold here. Your presence shapes the experience.
Your laughter, tears, silence or shyness, all of it feeds the collective field. Expression doesn’t have to be loud or erotic to be powerful.
Temple is an emergent field, it has no script. We follow what’s alive in the moment, dropping goals and expectations. The more you chase an experience, the more you miss the one that’s here. Lean into what’s real, in every moment.
Temple isn’t about fucking (not a sex party!), it’s about being fucked open by life. It’s about heart, mystery, the relational aliveness and the creative expression that happens when we all dare to bring ourselves fully in.
-
The team supports the temple and is part of it like you. You’ll see them connecting, tending the space or helping someone through an emotional wave.
Facilitators hold a different role: they carry authority and energetic responsibility. They don’t engage sensually or erotically. Their task is to anchor presence and guidance.
If you need support, they’re here for that. The sensual and erotic field flows between participants, that’s how we keep power dynamics clear and clean.
