WHAT IS ENERGETIC SEX?
Energetic Sex explores the electrical, energetical side to our sexuality. You may have felt it before: that spark of aliveness inside you, that jolt of lightning when you’re getting turned on, that heightened frequency when your erotic energy is flowing. That’s what we’re talking about. It’s real. It’s in your body. And it’s wonderful!
Or maybe you’re not so familiar with these sensations. That is way more common than not. No one really teaches us this stuff. You might be more used to sex being a friction-based, or purely contact-related experience. Or maybe you feel disconnected from your sexuality. No matter your past experience or reference points, you’re welcome here.

When we reconnect with our erotic energy as a living current rather than something purely mechanical, sex becomes more spacious, conscious, delicious. It allows pleasure to expand beyond the genitals, deepen intimacy and increase presence as well as sensitivity.
Energetic Sex opens a doorway to another layer of sexual experience, one that has been explored for thousands of years in mystical and Tantric traditions. Many of us already practice it without necessarily being aware.
Understanding your energetic sexuality can help you develop greater awareness of your own arousal patterns, regulate intensity rather than being overwhelmed or disconnected, nourish your body deeper than the physical (great for when your body is actually depleted).
This work reminds us that our bodies are not just matter, but also energy and both are deeply sexy (you‘ll know).
WHAT WE DO HERE.
In this workshop, we’ll uncover the other-worldly current of life that we are so lucky to have come through our bodies.
You’ll experience how to notice it in your body. How to kick it off, how to share it with others if you want to, and how to regulate it.
The workshop will explore the following:
Activating erotic energy in your whole body
Connecting breath to sexual energy
Making love with the third eye, heart, and base energy centers
Down-regulating your energy
It’s a beginner’s workshop, but all people, no matter your gender or sexual orientation, will benefit from it.
You can come with a partner, a friend, or by yourself. If you come with a partner, you can participate only with one another.

SIMON MARVELL (HE/HIM)
Simon is from Melbourne, Australia and has lived in Lisbon since 2022. He is on the faculty of the International School of Temple Arts, where he has been practicing since 2014.
He has facilitated workshops and retreats in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and all over Europe, and holds private sessions in-person and online for people wanting to explore their sexuality, emotional and somatic landscape, and personal growth

You and your body (please avoid heavy perfumes/scents)

Dress Code.
This is a fully dressed workshop. Come in clothes that make you feel comfy and you can move well in. If you want to feel the presence of others more closely, especially in touch exercises, we suggest bringing something that gives you the option to show some skin. Bring layers to take off and put on if the temperature shifts.
Refund policy.
You can request a refund through eventbrite up to five days before the event. There are no refunds available afterwards but you can transfer your ticket to someone up to 24 hours before the workshop begins.
